Theme for June: Unity
Scripture Verse:

”Just as each of us has one body with many members,
and these members do not have the same function,
so in Christ we who are many form one body,
and each member belongs to all the others.”
Romans 12:4-5

Mom’s musing:
Summer and ballgames fit together like a hand and a (baseball) glove. The Rockies, that’s my team! Every player has a specific job with a certain skill set. All players focus on playing their best in order for the team to win. What a perfect picture of unity. Contrast the Rockies to the Rockettes. The danceline’s moves are all in sync, legs kick in unison and at the same height. Perfectly uniform. Our families are to function more like the Rockies. Same team, different gifting.
Parenting Tip: Appreciate and support each family member’s gifting even if it is different from your own. And..root, root, root for the home team!
