In keeping with the tradition of my blog, here is a poem written by Rockman. This was originally penned as an October fall poem. I took a little “poetic” license and changed the word October to “fall”. Fall was my dad’s favorite season.  We were blessed to able to spend many Thanksgivings with my dad and mom.
Miss you, Pops.

Just today I had this thought,
Perhaps you’ve had it too?
How our lives mirror the seasons,
His love comes shining thru.

When summer’s growing is now done,
And autumn is in view.
Change is surely on its way,
His love comes shining thru.

Then winter gives us time to rest
Before spring brings life a new
New hope, new life, new joy
His love comes shining thru.

So on this beautiful “fall ” day
We recall His promise true.
Eternal life is our new season.
His love comes shining thru.
Amen

Have a beautiful Thanksgiving!
Faith, hope, and love,
Lori
