Helping Families Build Connections that Last a Lifetime

Welcome
“Who are you to lead a parenting class?” Apparently I hadn’t properly introduced myself. It feels awkward to state my bio before leading a class. But… the dad who asked the question had every right to inquire. He needed to know my background before he would embrace and implement my parenting suggestions and techniques. Perhaps you are wondering too.
Professionally, I am a licensed parent and family educator, MOMS Better Together Podcast Co-Host, parent consultant, certified teacher, co-founder of 1 Corinthians 13 Parenting Ministry, national speaker, and author of 6 parenting books.
I don’t think those credentials are the most important ones. I believe that personal experience is the place where wisdom is born, compassion is grown, and humility discovered.
Personally, I’m the mom of four now young adults (our family is smack dab in the middle of a growth spurt with in-laws and grands being added to the gang) and wife to Tom, my college sweetheart.
Wouldn’t you agree, nothing smartens up a person faster, knocks one’s pride down quicker, or tenderizes a heart more than being a parent ?
If you are a mom, dad, grandparent, or a ministry leader looking for Christian faith-based parenting assistance or training you will find what you need here—no matter the age of your child— littles to young adults. You will feel inspired, encouraged, supported, and guided while being provided current and cutting edge information. You may even laugh a little along the way.
Personal parenting consultation or parent coaching, speaking at special women’s events and retreats, parenting workshops, and conferences are available. Just connect with me on my contact page to get the conversation started.
Listen to the Moms Together Podcast and sign up for my Monday Eternal Moments blog to receive weekly parenting information and inspiration. Check out my resource page for freebies, books, podcasts, videos, and radio interviews.
I would love to join you in your parenting quest to build connections in your family that last a lifetime.
